What does the Master Degree Program Design and Media have to do with care for the elderly? More than you might think! In the Social Innovation Lab of the special show Aveneo, the students developed new ideas and concepts in the area of geriatric care, with the help of design thinking.

Der Master-Studiengang »Design & Medien« an der Hochschule Hannover ist mehr als vielseitig und gleichzeitig eine gute Voraussetzung für ein zukünftiges Berufsleben – als selbsttändige Designer, als Mitarbeiter in Design-Agenturen oder Angestellte in der Wirtschaft. Dazu gibt es jährlich unseren Info-Tag in der dritten März-Woche!

Bis zum 8.3. 2018 arbeiten die Master-Studenten im »Social Innovation Lab« auf der Sonderschau Aveneo der Messe Altenpflege an Ideen im Bereich Social Innovation. Wer Lust hat vorbeizukommen und beitragen will oder sich bei Talks und Startups umschauen möchte, ist gern gesehen.

Monday 15 January 2018,23:59 hrs: Final deadline for submission of the media theory paper – deadline. The end is in sight and the prokrastination changed into productivity with the delivery date in sight. 

The start into the new year took place entirely in the minds of the master students. No seminars, no lectures, but still the brain was properly challenged. After all, this week they had to crack some hard nuts: Understanding theories, transferring them to the media, and at the same time inventing some future.

HannoLab, concept presentation and the last seminar dates. The first semester is coming to an end like the calendar year. An end, is that right? The special thing about the master is to look beyond the box and not accept everything as a given. This creates designs that makes a difference.
